A Rose Latte for February

A Rose Latte for February

February doesn’t have to be loud or over-the-top. It can be soft. Intentional. A little slower.

Our Rose Latte is one of those drinks that invites you to pause—floral, comforting, and quietly indulgent. It’s something we serve in the coffee bar this time of year, but it’s also something you can easily make at home as a small way to pamper yourself.

No reservations required. No special occasion needed.

Why Rose?

Rose has a long history in food and drink, especially in warm beverages. It’s subtle, aromatic, and calming—adding depth without overpowering the coffee. When paired with espresso and milk, it creates a latte that feels cozy and elevated at the same time.

It’s the kind of drink you make when you want your coffee ritual to feel a little more intentional.

A Valentine’s Season Ritual — For You

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, there’s often pressure to make things extravagant. This is the opposite of that.

The Rose Latte is about taking a few extra minutes for yourself—whether that’s on a quiet morning, a slow afternoon, or as a gentle reset at the end of the day. It’s a reminder that care doesn’t have to be complicated.

How to Make a Rose Latte at Home

This simple recipe can be adjusted to your taste. Use what you have, go slowly with the rose, and make it your own.

Ingredients

  • 1–2 shots espresso
or ½ cup strongly brewed coffee

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1 teaspoon rose syrup
     or 3–5 drops rose water

  • Sweetener, to taste

Directions

  1. Brew the espresso or strong coffee and pour it into a mug.

  2. Heat the milk until hot but not boiling. Froth if desired.

  3. Stir the rose syrup or rose water into the coffee.

  4. Add sweetener to taste.

  5. Pour in the warm milk and stir gently. Finish with foam, if using.

  6. Serve hot—or pour over ice for a chilled version.

Tip: If using rose water, start on the lower end. It’s beautifully fragrant, and a little goes a long way.

A Small Moment Worth Savoring

This latte isn’t meant to be rushed. Let it cool slightly. Inhale the aroma. Take a sip before checking your phone.

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day or simply moving through February at your own pace, the Rose Latte is an invitation to slow down—even if just for one cup.
