B.P. of the Month: Topsy's Kitchen

Nestled in the heart of downtown Petaluma, Topsy’s Kitchen marries California seasonal cooking to Southern cuisine and hospitality.

Hailing from acclaimed Central Market in Petaluma, Estelle "Topsy" Rand, has curated a comfortable, bright atmosphere that remains attentive and friendly even in the peak of a bustling Saturday brunch hour. Plenty of natural light, chalkboard signage, rustic interior design and simple place settings set the stage for co-owner and chef Annie Simmons’ dishes to shine. Unpretentious, simply executed dishes let the ingredients do the talking featuring seasonal produce, farm fresh eggs and borderline sinfully delicious offerings like their Almost-Famous Chicken and Waffles. (Lucy’s Deep-Fried Deviled Eggs are a TMF favorite.) Superfood Salad Bowls, Applewood-smoked bacon BLT’s and Slow-Braised Brisket are just some of the Southern meets Califonia inspired options you’ll find on their lunch menu.

With outdoor patio seating and its central location to several Petaluma hotspots, Topsy’s Kitchen is a foodie mecca not to be missed!
