Jeffrey’s Hillside Café: Cooking With Sonoma County's Bounty

Hillside

Tucked away at the Hillside Inn in Santa Rosa, Jeffrey’s Hillside Café was opened in September 2009 by Jeffrey and Diana Madura. After 20 years as the executive chef at John Ash & Co., Jeffrey decided it was time to take a leap and open his own restaurant, one that focused on the freshest ingredients sourced from Sonoma County growers and producers. On their extensive breakfast menu you’ll find the likes of sticky bun French toast, biscuits and gravy, and seasonal vegetable or corned duck hash, and for lunch a wonderful selection of salads, sandwiches, and burgers. As for coffee, the staff will make you a mean espresso beverage using TMF’s Sweetwater Espresso, or pour you a rich cup of Goat Rock Roast to start your meal off right. Located at 2901 Fourth Street, Jeffrey’s is open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, 7am to 2pm. To peruse menus or learn more about the Maduras, go to www.jeffreyshillsidecafe.com.
